I updated and tried to color my picture of YiffyRaptor in my adult art gallery. I also added an awesome picture from DBruin to the guest adult art gallery.

Sorry about the lack of updates. My work schedule increased. More money is always good, but it does leave me with far less time to tend to the site. I've been accumulating things until I had enough content to make a relatively large update. I added a picture in my mild art gallery, a picture in my adult art gallery, and two versions of a new picture in the guest adult art gallery. Against my better judgment, I also put the original Adventure of Sam 1 and 2 back in the arcade. Also, my Fur Affinity page has been dead for ages now, but I just now remembered that I still linked to it. I just removed said link.

I commissioned an x-rated picture from Salali a while ago, and she just now got back to me with her picture. Far from her stalling or being lazy, the delay was mostly due to how insanely detailed it is and its having one of the most unique poses/camera angles I think I've ever seen. It's an awesome, awesome picture. It's in the adult Guest Art gallery.

I haven't made a news update in two months, but that doesn't mean I've been neglecting the site. I update Fuzzy Outcome all the time! The catch is that Fuzzy Outcome is updated regularly enough that it doesn't get mentioned in a news update when there's a new page. (Go to the Fuzzy Outcome LiveJournal community for announcements on Fuzzy Outcome updates.) When that's all I've been doing in the past two months, then the news updates will thus become sparse. However, I did just come up with something new for you: A new ZZT game in the Arcade! It's called Ninja Games, and is my contribution to the 2005 Weekend of ZZT competition. Go check it out! It's pretty fun.

I haven't touched the page in a while (even Fuzzy Outcome) due to a huge case of the bleh. I don't know, I just randomly got depressed and didn't feel up to doing anything productive this whole time. I'm not quite through that, either, but I can still update the page on account of guest art! Yes, Tarmyrin was nice enough to draw me, and that lovely gesture can be found in the mild guest art gallery.

Apologies for being gone way too long. My video card died, and I was effectively offline until I could get a new one. I'm back now! To make up for it, I uploaded everything I did while I was gone, which includes two pictures in my mild art gallery, one picture in my adult art gallery, and one Fuzzy Outcome page. (I know, I normally just update FO randomly without putting it on the news, but this is a special occasion. I mean, I've been gone for a while now.)
May 16, 2005
New picture! It's the Raptie Apprehension Force. Fear their vacant stare! It's in my mild art gallery.
April 22, 2005
New picture! It is my half of an art trade with Tempest, and features two of her characters randomly decorating. It's cute! It's in my mild art gallery.
April 18, 2005
Apologies for the delay. I was beseiged by computer problems that left me having to get a new printer/scanner and reformat my hard drive. Now I'm back up! I made a new Fuzzy Outcome page yesterday, but I tend not to talk about those things on the news since they're semi-regularly updated. (Go to the LiveJournal community if you want to be kept up with that.) Today, I updated the Arcade with a new ZZT game! It's called ZZT Pro. Check it out if you're into ZZT!

Happy belated birthday to Slither! I drew him a picture for a birthday present, which I placed in my adult gallery.
March 18, 2005
New picture! It's a random reclining pose of me. Go see it in my mild art gallery.
March 10, 2005
New picture! I was randomly inspired to do a goofy adult picture for Yiffy, which can be seen in my adult gallery.

Here's a weird update for you. I was looking through old stuff and found a poem I wrote sometime in February 2003. I was in college at the time, daydreaming in poetry class while the crows outside the window were going absolutely nuts. The combination of these two factors along with very little sleep somehow led to a sonnet about dead corvines. Anyway, I added it to the poetry page, which is an offshoot of my writings page. I also fixed that poetry page up in general while I was there, because it was ancient and had some dead links and stuff like that.

I just finished a successful art trade with Nightmare! My half is in my adult gallery, and her half is in the guest adult gallery. Art trades are fun! I get drawing practice (and I really like how mine turned out) and I get a neat picture in return, too. And of course, I have twice the content to put here when I'm done, so everyone wins!
February 16, 2005
I finished the banner made from that Vitae picture. That means that on top of the inked picture that was already in my art gallery, there's now a colored version and the actual banner. Go see...again!
February 15, 2005
New picture in my mild art gallery, of Vitae, for a banner contest for Fur Affinity. Go see!

I'm very sorry for the downtime. The page is back now. I changed how the www.kjorteo.net domain points to the actual page, and a glitch in the changing process sparked half the site not working (kjorteo.net was fine, but www.kjorteo.net didn't work at all) for that whole time. Now everything works, which is good. There are two main changes involved with this: One, you have to use kjorteo.net now. kjorteo.net used to serve just as a pointer to blazeshadow.net/kjorteo, where my page actually lives. Now, the Blazeshadow address no longer works. My page can now only be accessed at kjorteo.net or www.kjorteo.net. The other change to note is how sub-pages on this domain appear in your address bar now. I used to have a "cloaked" URL which works with an invisible frame, ensuring that no matter what part of the site you were on, the address bar simply read "kjorteo.net." This is because it was either that or have a meta-forward which changed the address to blazeshadow.net/kjorteo/(whatever), which I considered highly tacky. Now, though, I finally got the spiffy setup I was hoping for where sub-pages are visible and appear in relation to my domain in the address bar. (Try clicking on the Arcade link from here. Unless you're in one of the framed versions of this site, the address bar should now actually read kjorteo.net/arcade.html. Isn't that neat?) So, again, the Blazeshadow address no longer works but the Kjorteo one is cooler now in return. Go progress! Oh, and in Spicy-only news, I got a really cool commission from Lysozyme which was then colored by YiffyRaptor. Results are in the guest adult gallery. Go see!

I played with my Discourses section a bit. I realized I forgot about all the individual discourses when I went around changing the disclaimer at the top of every page in the Spicy wing, so those have now been altered as well. I noticed that the table of contents on the main discourses page appeared to be in absolutely no order whatsoever, so I made it chronological with the oldest discourse I ever wrote on the bottom and the newer ones on the top. Oh, I also made a new discourse. Yup. There's a new one. Well, sort of. SheezyArt is going straight to hell, so I wrote a journal entry saying something more or less to that effect on my SheezyArt account. I suspect it will get pulled as soon as an administrator sees it, so I decided to mirror it here. It's a lot less "discourse" and more "rant" than anything else I've written in there, but I had to put it somewhere lest it be gone forever once it gets pulled, you know? Oh, and I just set a change in motion on the way the kjorteo.net domain forwards itself to the place where my page actually lives. (How this is configured affects what you see in your address bar when you navigate all of the pages within my site.) I won't say anything until the thing actually goes through, but I think you're going to like it.

Not two days after I add the debut of the re-designed and re-drawn and otherwise 'new' version of Barius to my mild gallery, I decided I couldn't resist doing some porn and added a significantly less G-rated picture of him to my adult gallery. In exchange, I pulled a "threesome" picture from my adult gallery from the 2000 section because it had an anthro chocobo in it. I was supposed to have gotten rid of all the fan-content already, and I had just plain missed that one. Also, on top of the picture-related news, I renovated the entire Spicy wing of Kjorteo's Domain. Before, any link to one of the adult galleries took you to a central "Warning" page, which had links to the four adult galleries after you agreed. The adult galleries had a disclaimer that basically said that you have to have agreed to the warning page before being there. The other Spicy pages before this warning page had a more generic "Just kind of watch for lewdness and such" disclaimer on them. Now there are two virtually identical copies of the warning page. One is accessed via the "Spicy -- With Frames" button in the Choose Your Flavor screen, and the other via the "Spicy -- No Frames." Both now just have two options: agree or disagree. Disagree takes you back to the Choose Your Flavor screen. Agree takes you to either the frames or no-frames version of the Spicy page. (This is why there are two otherwise identical copies.) I rewrote the adult page "You must have read the warning page to be here" disclaimer and changed all the disclaimers on all the Spicy sub-pages to that. From here, all the adult links now go directly to the pages in question. In other words, I moved the Warning page to when you first enter the Spicy section, and you should be compliant but left alone on every page after it. For the Mild wing...well, I didn't redesign it, but I did change the classification on Fuzzy Outcome so that they can now see it too.

I drew a picture! It's Barius from my story which may or may not ever come out. Look for it in my general gallery. Also, Fur Affinity has gone down, but I haven't changed the link because it's going to come back up any day now and everything should be just as it was before when it does.
January 19, 2005
I am pleased to announce the rise of Fur Affinity, a SheezyArt clone that has spawned in the wake of SheezyArt going all stupid. I have signed up for an account there and have begun adding all the fanart and such that I lost because of Nintendo's Cease and Desist order. I have added a link to Furry Affinity in all the general link collection areas. I was considering only posting this in the Spicy section, as I have lots of explicit stuff there. However, to see any of it, you need to sign up for a Furry Affinity count of your own, and add your age to your profile and consent to view mature submissions there. You really have to try to see that stuff, and the content is kept appropriate for general audiences otherwise.
January 16, 2005
Yeah, so, um...nevermind what I said about the whole SheezyArt thing, since they decided to institute a brand new "no adult stuff" policy two days after I got my account. I was kind of under the impression that that was the whole point of SheezyArt--"We're like DeviantArt but unlike them, we allow porn!"--but I guess not. People are scrambling to make a site for refugees, and the Fur Affinity community at FurPawz.net has one that I like so far. Thus, I set up shop there. Now, FurPawz is highly glitchy right now. How glitchy is it? I have a couple things in my FurPawz gallery that don't work at all, that I can't get rid of because the remove submissions feature doesn't work either. Still, the place has promise. They're working on all the bugs. It's going to be absolutely awesome by the time it's done. So I changed my SheezyArt links on this site to the FurPawz site, and will be tampering with it off and on as they get stuff fixed. Not even half the stuff I want is up there yet, but as the site becomes more stable and time goes on, I'll probably flesh it out a lot more. Meanwhile, I'll keep you informed as to the latest developments.
January 12, 2005
I signed up for a SheezyArt account. No, I'm not going to move over there as my main focus. Most of what I do is still going on my website. Hell, that's why I even have a website. However, as you know, I lost everything remotely fan-related from this site when Nintendo served me a Cease and Desist order. Thus, a SheezyArt account can (and will) serve as a safe haven for all that old stuff, plus whatever new fanart or fanfiction I do from this point forward. If I make something, I will upload it there and post the fact that I did so here. It has been added to the huge table of site sections and external links. Oh, speaking of letting you know when I made new stuff and put it on my SheezyArt account, I did just that, just now. This is obscure, and very horrible, and I am horrible person and should go to Hell for this, but I made a decaying anthro duck in a graveyard to celebrate the "Graveyard Duck" quote from Castlevania II. Go SheezyArt! Because the world really needed to see that.
